We are the Animal Hospital of Manitoba, a team of caring, compassionate and energetic veterinary healthcare professionals. We strive every day to bring the most effective and appropriate veterinary care to our valued patients. Our every day mantra is ‘prevention’! We know that there are four major factors that affect the longevity of our pets, they are, genetics, environment, nutrition and preventative healthcare. We are pleased to partner with you to provide the most appropriate and effective preventative veterinary healthcare for your special furry family members.
We are consistently adding new technologies and equipment to our facility to aid in the delivery of effective and modern veterinary care. We are pleased to be able to perform many diagnostics on-site, including ultrasound, radiology, hematology, video endoscopy and laparoscopy. We also extensively use outside labs for very specific diagnostics. We continually participate in disease studies with IDEXX laboratories, which helps us to keep ‘the pulse’ on disease and virus’ in our geographic area. Surgery is a large part of our practice, we understand the complex issues involved in all surgical procedures, and take every precaution possible. We participated in an ‘in clinic’ week long surgical anesthesia seminar conducted by a board certified veterinary anesthesiologist. We have subsequently incorporated her protocols, and are exceptionally pleased with the outcome. While our patients are under anesthesia our Animal Health Technologists, make use of several monitoring tools including a pulse oximeter, doppler, ECG and a non-invasive blood pressure monitor. CO2 Laser surgery is our most recent addition to our practice, and it is proving to be very effective for healing and pain control.
Dr. Zheng and the healthcare team at the Animal Hospital of Manitoba are proud to have you as our valued clients and wish to provide you with the best in veterinary care! We strive to do this by excelling in customer service, providing the latest technologies and veterinary concepts, and ultimately keeping your pets healthy and happy. Our goal is to enrich your pets’ life by improving both the quality and quantity of life through preventative healthcare.
